Isn't it wonderful to feel well?!
Funny how it sometimes takes being ill before we notice that. I had food poisoning this week but today I feel 100% better! Yip-ee!! I'd skip if I had the energy.
I'm now wearing thermals on top of my thermals and eating pies!!

My mission before the flower shop gets busy with St.Valentine's Day preparation is to sketch out an idea I have for the painting to go with 'Day To Remember' (one of the new songs) it'll have poppies bleeding into the ground with the sun coming up in the background. One day the wars will stop. One day the pain will end.

On a happier note my sisters horse is coming to live on the hill and so Duchess will be alone no more. I love the smell of horses. Even their poo smells lovely. I don't care what anyone thinks... it does. No other animals poo smells ok... they must be creatures of the magical realm. I love them, I love their breath, their sound, their spirit and their companionship. The first song I ever wrote was about a pony...Carmen. Happy days.

A very wonderful thing happened, I saw my Grandma.
She grew wings three years ago but I saw her peeping at us the way she always did as we drove away.
Life is fascinating, emotional, tragic and beautiful.
Will we ever truly understand it?
