I’m up North for 10 days working in my mums flower shop making holly wreaths and sparkly christmas arrangements! I love it! The greenery smells like lemons and I’m using cinnamon, orange and lime slices, eucalyptus buds and fircones I’d collected from the woods in Cornwall. Next week I’ll be making fireplace garlands and hyacinth planters. It’s good to get my fingers in the soil.

It’s also been great to catch up with Keith Watkins and he’s coming with me to the BBC Radios, on Thursday to Carlisle and Friday to Blackburn to play some songs from the new album.
I’ve a new song brewing from the long drive up here which is helping me through the seriously early mornings and late nights. Count down to Christmas is on!
